Student Review: "Winterhouse," by Ben Gutterson

Orphan Elizabeth Somers is shipped off to a hotel by her aunt and uncle. She discovers that Winterhouse has many secrets. She finds a book in the library that she can move with her mind. She also finds that she is the only one who can break the curse that surrounds Winterhouse. Elizabeth meets Freddie, a boy at Winterhouse who becomes her friend, and helps her solve the mystery. She also finds out that the owner of Winterhouse is her grandfather. I liked this book and would read it again.
