This book was about how Doctor Seuss was born. It tells how he grew up and how he loved to doodle. When he got older, he started writing comics for newspapers and went to college. He got married then started to write children's books. He had trials and successes with each of his books but in the end they got published and sold well. Then his wife died and he married someone else. His most famous book series was the Cat and the Hat. He also won a prize for children's books and no one had ever one before by writing children's books. I liked this book because I like some of the books he's made and I would read this book again.
