Student Review: "Who Is Kamala Harris?," by Kirsten Anderson

This book is about Kamala Harris and what she did and is still doing in her life. It tells you about how she became the first black women to hold office. It tells you what good things and bad things she did for this country. This book was very interesting and gave a lot of great facts abut her. I would read this again.

Kamala Harris was born to a Jamaican father and a Indian mother who both migrated to California to go to school. Her parents divorced and her mom and took her and her sister to Canada to live. Kamala moves back to California and studies law. She became the California district attorney (DA). She also ran for president, but dropped out and became vice president when Joe Biden took office in 2021. This wasn't my favorite book, but it was very informative.
