Student Review: "Treasure Island," by Robert Louis Stevenson

Young Jim Hawkins and his parents live in the inn they run and one day a stranger comes and stays at the inn for months. Jim's father dies, and the stranger dies too. Jim finds a map and with the help of a squire, doctor, and captain Smollett, who let Jim come aboard a ship that sails to treasure island, were they hope to find treasure. After the one-legged cook, Mr. Silver, betrays them, they have a battle and win. They go back home, but Silver escapes with one of the bags of gold.
