Prince and Pauper

This book is about two boys who were born on the same day but born in different life styles. One was born into a royal family and one was born in a homeless family. When these boys got older, they met each other for the first time and because they looked and sounded so much alike, they decided it would be fun to switch clothes and experience a different life style. The homeless boy was got to experience the riches in life and the prince got to experience hardships with being homeless. Then, the king dies and the homeless boy would become king. The prince and his friend stop the ceremony just in time before the crown touched the homeless boy's head. They switch to there original life style and become happier because both boys made good changes in the other boys' different roles. I really liked this book because it had lots of adventure and had a great story line! I would like to read this book again!

Review by Ester G.

Tom, a boy from a poor family, makes his way into the palace one day and switches clothes with Prince Edward. They are unable to change back into their original clothes due to a misunderstanding. Edward is thrown into the streets and is being confused for Tom, who is having the same problem. Edward and Tom live each other's lives for a while. After the king dies, they find a way to switch back and resume their normal lives. This book was not my favorite.
