The Prince and the Pauper is about two boys who look the same, but one of them is a prince and the other is very poor. They end up switching places and live each others lives. Edward, the real prince, tries to convince everyone that he is the prince of Whales and Tom, the false Prince, is considered to have gone mad because of the strange way he acts. Eventually Tom forgets that he ever switched places, and when the king dies and it is time for his coronation, Edward finds his way into the palace and stops the ceremony. Tom willingly gives Edward back his position and he is crowned king. This book was okay, but very hard to read because of the way the dialogue was written. Though the plot was interesting, it was very boring and I don't think that I would read it again.
