Student Review: "Orange for the Sunsets," by Tina Athaide

This book is about 12 year old Indian Asha and her best African friend, Yesofu. When the president of their country decides that all Indians have to leave, and they have 90 days to do it. Yesofu is forced to pick sides between Asha and his African friends. Asha doesn't want to leave, but after her father is arrested for being a conspirator against the president, she and her mother have no choice but to leave. This book gives a good view of politics from children's perspective.
