Student Review: "King and the Dragonflies," by Kacen Callender

This is good book about a 12 year old boy named King. King is sure his older brother Khalid, who recently died, his turned into a dragonfly. King must keep the secret that Khalid still visit King in his dreams.King wants to talk to his best friend Sammy, but he cannot because a few days before Khalid died he over heard Sammy say he was gay. So Khalid did not want people to think King was gay too. One day when Sammy goes missing, and the whole town put on a search party. That night when King came home he found Sammy in his backyard. Sammy wanted King to help him hide from his abusive father. Sammy and King make there own little world in the bayou.
