Student Review: "Heidi," by Johanna Spyri

When Heidi is five her father's sister, Detie, brings her to live with her grandfather up on the mountain because her parents have both passed away. She loves her life on the mountain and grows up there till she is 7. Then Detie comes back to take Heidi away to the city to live with a rich family and make friends with Clara, who can't walk, and is Mr. Seseman's only child. Heidi and Clara become good friends but soon Heidi is very homesick and returns to the mountain. Later, Clara is well enough to go visit Heidi on the mountain and learns to walk again. I liked this book a lot.
