Boots on the ground is about 6 American soldiers, 1 American military nurse, and 1 Vietnamese refugee. This is about the Vietnam war, and the people who served in it. It was hard to read because of how descriptive the book is. It had a little language, but told a powerful story. It talked about the memorial that was built after the war, and how so many people served in the war and were killed. I thought the book was well written and informative, but I might not want to read it again.
