Written in verse, this very quick read leads off with the important stuff - something inappropriate happened to Tori with her uncle in the basement after school. Tori tells her mom, who doesn't believe her or thinks she misconstrued the situation. Tori retreats into her own world and depression, not talking to her friends or family. Finally, her mom realizes the truth and this book details the journey Tori goes through to accept that what happened wasn't her fault and that she was very brave to speak out.
