Review: "Look Both Ways," by Jason Reynolds

Take a walk with ten different tales of kids leaving school and walking home. You'll meet a cross-section of kids - some going through deep troubles like having parents with cancer, some dealing with bullying, another with a little OCD about walking home and being safe, and another with a shot for some romance. Each tale is separate in its storytelling but connected by location and "a school bus falling from the sky." Jason Reynolds hits the nail on the head with his spot-on dialogue and inner workings of a young person's thoughts and feelings.
