Six kids from diverse backgrounds are chosen to go once a week to a room to just talk to each other, no adult present. This audiobook has a full cast, giving so much life to this story! When they're together, they know it's safe to share everything they've kept to themselves from others - a dad in prison, another dad picked up by ICE and a family in fear of being sent away, racism in their lives, emotions connected to having a best friend of a different race. So many tough topics are tackled in this book with ease and truth that give these topics faces and voices that are genuine. Highly recommended.
