Greetings from Witness Protection

Thirteen-year-old Nicky has been passed from foster home to foster home since her dad’s been in prison and her grandma passed away. She has a knack for pickpocketing and a sassy attitude. To her surprise, she is recruited by the witness protection program to join a family in hiding so that it’s not as obvious they are in hiding. If the bad guys are looking for a family of three, maybe a family of four will be safer. Nicky changes her name to Charlotte and joins a family hiding from the baddest of Russian mafia. She uses her smarts and sass to fit in at their new town and school, but will she really be able to forget all she left behind? This was a fun story with heart and spunk. I loved the narrator on the audiobook.
