What would you do if you found out the women in your family could time travel? Faced with the tragedies of his younger sister drowning years earlier and his mom leaving the family recently, Finn is definitely in a funk. He's looking forward to spending some time with his Grandma and getting away from his uptight dad. But on his first day with his Grandma, he realizes something really fishy is going on. In fact a Grandma from the past comes to visit him and tell him the secrets of his family. He is shocked and confused, but intrigued because he loves Science. He is told that his mom didn't just abandon them but that she time traveled and hasn't been able to return. It's up to Finn to not only save his mother and bring her home but possibly save another family member in peril! I really liked this book and it's take on time travel. Some of it may be over the heads of your non-Science friends (like myself) but it's still a fun trip to take with Finn!
