Review: "The Haunting of Hill House," by Shirley Jackson

I guess I know myself well enough to know this classic of the horror genre wouldn't be quite right for me. I did enjoy it for its literary quality, but the horror needed to be ratcheted up several notches to really hold my attention. Not scary enough for me, but I think it is still excellently written and worthy of its classic status.
