Between Two Skies was a book that opened my eyes to Katrina's damage. It got kind of slow about halfway through, but I loved the ending. Overall, I give this book 4 out of 4 skies.
This realistic fiction book follows Evangeline Riley, who lost her home to Hurricane Katrina. She meets Tru, who is also a Katrina refugee. She falls for him, but he suddenly moves away. She goes to New Orleans to find him, but comes up empty. It's Romeo and Juliet all over again.
