Overall I give this book 7 out of 10 non-creepy dolls. Detailing the biography of Mattel’s founder, Ruth Handler, this book teaches Barbie’s influence around the world, both good and bad. This book has plenty of quotes and sources. In this book, you will find out what her first outfit was. You’ll learn how Mattel came to be. But, most importantly, you’ll find out just how popular Barbie really is.
