Michael Vey

Michael Vey go's to Meridian High School with his friends Ostin and Taylor. Michael and Taylor seem ordinary but they are anything but

ordinary. Michael and Taylor discovered at a young age that they have special powers. Michael can shock people but only if he is touching them, he calls it pulsing. Every thing changes in thier life when they receive an email from Dr. Hatch, inviting them to attend Elgen Accademy. Elgen Academy is a school meant just for special kids like Michael and Taylor. This school offers them a better life and opportunities to go to the best colleges after they graduate. It all seemed like a wonderful idea until things started to get a little suspicious. Michael soon finds out there are only about 14 other kids like him and they all go to Elgen. Dr.Hatch a scientest that runs Elgen, has been inviting these kids to attend his academy. Once he has captured them, he brain washes them to where they think he is wonderful, they are loyal to him and will do anything he wants them to. Since Dr. Hatch is having trouble getting Michael and Taylor to come, he captures Michaels mother, knowing that he will come and try to get her. When Michael does come to save his mother, Dr.Hatch captures him. What happens next, will Michael escape, will he save his mother? I think this book is great, it keeps you on the edge of your seat and makes you want to read more to find out what is going to happen next.
