Student Review: "Firefight," by K. Wild

Freedom Smith is a gypsy boy with the Hercules gene, which gives him supernatural strength. Usually gypsy boys do not work with the police, but he got into trouble and they made him an offer. His mission is to save some kids that are being taken by fire-breathing humans. They are using a screamer to paralyze the kids and taking them in their sleep. These are not just any kids, they are Indigos and they can hear the message inside of the screamer. Freedom was not up for the mission until he found out that one of the kids taken was the girl he loves named Java. He will have to go up against these fire-breathing humans that are immune to his strength. Will he save them in time? This is a very good book, it is action packed with lots of twists and turns, and will keep you interested until the very end.
