Review: "All the Crooked Saints," by Maggie Stiefvater

Would you face your darkness in order to receive a miracle? The pilgrims who make their way to Bicho Raro do just such a thing. Their darkness is revealed in many ways and it's up to them to figure out how to overcome it in order to receive their second miracle. Beatriz and her family of saints are bound by rules to not interfere with the pilgrims' progress, but when a saint falls in love with a pilgrim, everything changes. Now the saint is faced with his own darkness and it is more horrifying and profound than any he has faced in a pilgrim. It's up to Beatriz to solve the puzzle that can save her saint cousin's life.
