What if the Third Reich and Imperial Japan had won World War II? This book imagines that alternate history. Hitler is now leader of Germania, and the Axis powers celebrate their victory with an annual cross-continental motorcycle race called the Axis Tour. The winner gets to attend the Victor's Ball and meet the reclusive Adolf Hitler himself. Yael was a young victim of the Third Reich's inhumane science experiments while she was a resident at a concentration camp. The science experiments backfired when Yale realized she could alter her appearance at will, or skin shift, to look like whoever she wanted. She used this newfound power to escape the concentration camp and now the Resistance is using her to imitate a former competitor and victor of the Axis Tour, Adele Wolfe. Yael's mission is to win the Axis Tour and use her proximity to Hitler at the Victor's Ball to murder him. Will she be successful?
