Student Review: "If I Were You," by Leslie Margolis

If I Were You is about two girls named Katie and Melody. Each girl thinks each others life is perfect. So when Katie makes a wish in a magical tunnel,the girls switch lives. When Katie's crush thinks she is Melody and asks her out the real Melody gets jealous and starts a fight with Katie over him. Then both girls decide to go back to their original life because they realize each other’s life is not as PERFECT as they had thought it was. I rated this book a 6/10 because it’s hard to follow which girls life they are talking about. I can relate to some of the things that the girls dealt with because it’s easy to think someone else's life is better or more perfect than our own life.
