The Boy in the Black Suit is about a boy named Matt who lost his mother. She died of breast cancer. Since his father can't handle the bills, he wanted a job. When he was about to apply at Cluck Bucket, Mr. Ray, owner of a local funeral home, gave him a job. Since then he has worn a black suit. He liked to watch funerals and it made him feel better because he wasn't the only one to go through death of a loved one. Until he meets Lovey, a girl who went through much more than he did and who is very strong. His life changed when he first met her.
