Review: "Ellie's Story," by W. Bruce Cameron

Ellie is a young German Shepherd pup who is adopted by a police officer and trained to be a search and rescue dog. Ellie is eager to please and very good at her job. When the officer she lives and works with is shot in the line of duty, she is sent to live with another officer who is training to be on K-9 patrol. Ellie's life is one adventure after another and her experience tugs at the reader's heartstrings.
