Let me start by saying this is a good book. The reason I'm giving it two stars is that I've already read it. It was called Cinder! The similarities between these two books are overwhelming. Here's a list I made while reading Stitching Snow: SPOILERS! Cinder vs Stitching Snow Levana - Matthias Precious element mined on Luna -merinium Mechanic - same Long lost royal heir - same Robot tinkering - drone tinkering Hidden for years on distant planet - same Lunar mind control - body hopping or transitioning Queen ordered her killed - same Someone helped her escape - same Royal guard loves princess winter - fake royal guard loves Snow Queen creates deadly plague and she has the antitoxin - same So, with Cinder being one of my recent favorites, I had a hard time even giving this book a chance.
